The newly announced Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite are mid-range smartphones with some impressive camera hardware. They also support Google’s Android One platform, which offers a stock Android 8.1 Oreo OS, monthly security updates, and the promise of faster feature updates thanks to Project Treble.
So when will you be able to get one of these phones, and how much will they cost?
Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite availability
Xiaomi stated the Mi A2 and the Mi A2 Lite will launch first in Spain in late July. In the coming weeks and months, the phones’ availability will spread to 40 markets around the world. So far, we don’t have any more information on what specific markets will be getting these phones.
Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite price
As far as pricing, all we have at the moment is the cost for the phones in Spain. The Mi A2 will be sold for 249 euros (~$290) with 4GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. It will also be sold for 299 (~$350) euros in a version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The third model will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for 349 euros (~$408).
All three variants will be sold in five different colors: black, blue, red, gold, and rose gold.

The Mi A2 Lite will be available in Spain for 179 euros (~$209), with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, or for 229 euros (~$268) with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It’s coming in black, blue, and gold colors.
