- Leaked promotional material indicates Samsung Galaxy Note 9 pre-orders on Sprint will come with free accessories.
- Customers can choose from AKG noise-canceling headphones or a “Samsung Game Bundle.”
- Buyers can also choose to pick up both options for just $99.
We’re still several hours away from the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but information about potential pre-order deals is already leaking out. According to a poster that was sent our way from a reader, Sprint will offer those who pre-order the Note 9 a free pair of AKG noise-canceling headphones valued at $300 or a “Samsung Gaming Bundle” which is estimated to cost $150.
As you can see from the image below, customers don’t necessarily have to choose just one of the available promotional items. If they want, buyers can fork over an additional $99 when ordering the Galaxy Note 9 and get the AKG headphones and the gaming bundle.
Unfortunately, we don’t know what will come in Samsung’s gaming bundle. As the Galaxy Note 9 will likely be the exclusive launch partner for Fortnite on Android, there’s a good chance that the various items will include a controller and will help players get a leg up on the competition.
The promotional material also states that this deal is being handled by Samsung despite it being advertised directly to Sprint customers. As a previous leak already hinted that pre-orders bought from Samsung might come with free noise-canceling AKG headphones, there’s a good chance that this offer might be valid for any customer who pre-orders the Galaxy Note 9 from any carrier or retailer. We will have to wait until the phone is announced to get confirmation from Samsung.
This wouldn’t be the first time that the company has partnered with carriers and retailers to give away free accessories. When the Galaxy S9 and S9+ were announced, Samsung included free DeX Pads with every pre-order. And after the phone went on sale, Samsung offered customers discounted accessory bundles.
According to the poster, this offer ends on Aug. 23 which also looks to be the last day to pre-order the Galaxy Note 9. Customers who already know that they’ll be buying Samsung’s latest flagship can still register to pre-order the handset and be the first to get their hands on the device.
