B&H has reduced the price on the original Google Pixel at its online store. Both 32GB and 128GB models of the handset are available at significantly reduced prices ahead of the launch of the Google Pixel 3 series in the fall.
The 32GB Pixel is available in Quite Black for $329.99 while the 128GB model is $50 more expensive at $379.99 and comes in Very Silver. Google removed the first generation Pixel and Pixel Xl from its online store earlier this year, so this may be one of your last chances to get hold of a new unit.
The Google Pixel features a 5-inch, 1080p display, Snapdragon 821 chip, 4GB of RAM, and a 12.3MP main camera. The regular price for the handset in these two storage versions was $649.99 and $749.99 (for the 32GB and 128GB models respectively), and you’d probably struggle to find them at this price non-refurbished (and from a trustworthy seller) now, so it could be a good deal for you.
The Pixel is approaching its second anniversary (it was released in October 2016), but don’t forget that you get longer support with the Pixels than almost all other Android phones. The Pixel launched with Android Nougat and is expected to see the final version of Android P when it arrives and security updates until October 2019.
