Samsung’s top-tier are among the best to still offer expandable storage as a standard feature, with the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus, and the Note 8 all sporting an optional microSD slot. As an added bonus during July, anyone buying one of the South Korean firm’s current flagships direct from the Samsung Store in the U.S. will receive a free memory card.
The offer is available to any customer who picks up any S9 model or the Note 8 outright, on an installment plan, two-year contract, or lease purchase on or before July 31. The free memory card promo can then be redeemed on the Shop Samsung app, just make sure you do so before August 7 when the offer expires.
It’s worth noting that the size of the microSD card you’ll receive depends on the storage capacity of the phone you’re buying. Samsung is offering to double your memory so, for example, if you buy a 128GB Note 8 model you’ll get a 128GB memory card as your freebie, while 64GB devices will come with a 64GB card.
This is also a “while stocks last” offer. Samsung has confirmed that no more than 1,000 128GB and/or 2,000 256GB cards are available, although there are hundreds of thousands of 64GB cards to go around for the vanilla versions of all three devices.
You can grab the offer via the Samsung Store by hitting the button below, just be sure to check out our reviews of the Galaxy S9 series and the Note 8 before spending your cash!
