Getting your hands on the update
Users enrolled in the MIUI 9 beta can access the MIUI 10 global beta by visiting the “updater” tool. Other users are in a bit of a bind, as you’ll need to download the ROM as part of the process. Unfortunately, Xiaomi’s ROM downloads page has been offline for several weeks now.
The new update will deliver a portrait mode for single camera phones, a new recents menu, and redesigned volume/brightness sliders. Other noteworthy features include nature-inspired notifications, a countdown timer with nature sounds, and India-specific tweaks.
